Union Bank Plc joined the growing trend in the banking industry and other financial institutions in providing banking solutions to its growing customers who are less experienced in modern digital banking technology; and customers who are unable to access internet banking that requires the use of data.   It also upgraded its online banking platform UnionOnline with new features.

At a media interactive session, Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Heritage Place, Ikoyi, Lagos;  the bank  made public new version of its mobile banking app UnionMobile and *826#, a USSD code, which facilitates customers performing banking transactions on mobile phones using short code message.

In the words of Emeka Emuwa, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Union Bank:  “Simpler, Smarter banking is not just a tagline for us.  We have worked tirelessly for nearly two years to deliver the solutions we are presenting today because we invested time and resources to understand what our customers really need and how we can deliver the right solutions to meet those needs”.
