For three years into 2018, soft drink giant Coca-Cola dreams big for Kenya’s soft drink market. It plans to invest about $90 million to increase its products range in the region within the period.
Coca-Cola said in a statement, Tuesday, October 24, in Nairobi, that wider range of its soft drinks brands in Kenya would begin in 2018. Details of what would make up the wider range of products were not given.
Coca-Cola brands of Coke and Fanta lead in Kenyan soda market. The company said it has invested $17 billion in Africa since 2014. This amount was said to double what Coca-Cola invested in the continent in previous years.
According to Reuters report, other soft drinks producers, such as PepsiCo and SABmiller are Coca-Cola’s growing competitors in Kenya.
