That Oshiomhole’s rights as APC member is currently abated and he cannot continue as Chairman of the party, having been suspended as member of the party in his Ward in Edo State.

Oshiomhole’s hands are full of crisis in APC, at the national level, and his home, Edo State. He has been at loggerheads with Godwin Obaseki, Governor of Edo State.  The party in Edo State is divided into factions. The activities of the factions are degenerating into violent crisis that is engulfing the State.

Several top members of the party, recently, passed vote of no confidence over his leadership style.  He has been accused of been responsible for the party losing some states to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
