CSP ADEKUNLE AJISEBUTU, is now the new Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Lagos State Police Command. He replaced CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, transferred to Force Public Relations Department, Force Headquarters, Abuja, who had his last engagements in the Command, on Friday.
Nigeria’s Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, approved the postings, according to Police statement by the out-going Lagos State PPRO, Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
Ajisebutu was second-in-command, Area “E” Festac Area Command, Lagos State, before his new posting. He was also, PPRO Oyo State Police Command from 2015 to 2019, and PPRO Zone 11, Osogbo, between 2019 and 2020. He worked in various capacities in the Force; also, as Deputy PPRO, Ogun State.

He was Personal Assistant to the Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command and Personal Assistant to the Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Research and Planning, Force Headquarters, Abuja, DIG Leye Oyebade [retired] in 2021. He was listed into the Force on September 1, 1988.
Adekunle Ajisebutu is an Associate Member, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, and member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
Police statement further said that the new PPRO, Lagos Command, should be accorded unflinching support by journalists and the general public in the fight against crime and criminality in Lagos State.
