Photographs of Fani-Kayode and some chieftains of the party were flaunted, showing President Buhari, the leader of the party, at the Presidential Villa, on Thursday, receiving him back to the party.
The photographs gave no clear evidence of enthusiastic welcome, that political parties accord returnee party stalwart, was accorded Fani-Kayode, on his return back to the ruling party. What could be gleaned from the postures and facial expressions of the party chieftains present at the welcome reception, seemed more of cautious welcome.

Femi Fani-Kayode to Nigerians, his fans and supporters, local and international political allies, analysts and observers, has become, the proverbial “Dog that returned to his vomit”.

Fani-Kayode’s tweets and other media reports, about his political disposition in the country, speaks eloquently, of zig-zag politics of the man Femi Fani-Kayode.
ANSWERING questions from journalists, after meeting the president, Fani-Kayode said he was the spinner in the works that facilitated the defections of three PDP former Governors Ben Ayade, Cross River State; Dave Umahi, Ebonyi State; and Bello Matawalle, Zamfara State, to return to APC.
As founding member of APC, Fani-Kayode stated, his return to APC was for the unity of the country. And added that he was courting some PDP Governors Seyi Makinde, Oyo State; Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Enugu State; and Bala Mohammed, Bauchi State; to join APC.
